Alex has been involved in major Land Development Acquisitions, Entitlements  and Due Diligence for Residential and Commercial lands  and  buildings  involving   raw land and Site Selection .His experience in Florida has been in the private, Public and Legislative arenas.

For six years, he spearheaded major environmental  Legislation , which is still the cornerstone of Florida`s Entitlement  process , including the Water Quality, Wetlands, Growth Management and Local Government Comprehensive Planning Acts .He has also acquiered single  and multifamily subdivisions for major homebuilders including Mercedes, Horton, and Holiday Builders, where he was  Director of Land Development .

Developments of Regional Impact have also been experienced with the State, Private and Legislative arenas for over twenty years.

He has also been with local governments and as Director with the St. Johns River Water Mananagement District for five years. (Upper Basin Project of 220,00 acres with the Army Corps of Engineers)

International Development has ben accomplished in Mexico, Canada, Puerto Rico and New Zealand where he developed residential projects  with a New Zealand firm. Alex has experienced all aspects of Land Development and has the rare ability to incorporate economics with a “Land Ethic” when analyzing raw land.

This “Land Ethic” is not only from his formal education  of a Master`s  from  Penn State in Environmental Planning and undergraduate  background in Landscape Architecture and Forestry, but nine additional  graduate courses in Land  Economics from Florida State . Combine this with his passion of Wildlife photography and an International bowhunting    experiences  and one begins to understand this passion and comprehension  of  land .   His interest have led him to be a Pro staffer with archery companies and be a member of the SCI Archery Committee.

He has personally accomplished over 34 rezonings with Local Governments and many Evidentiary Hearings  and has a very strong belief  in Private  Property Rights.
