Those are some nice bass! I use to catch crappie as big as that one mounted a a lake called Red Lake in northern Minnesota....through the ice even. Nothing like catching a 12"+ crappie on light line through the ice. Good times! Welcome to HFS.

Years and years of lots of different stratigies! You just gotta think like that Bass hehehehehe. Naw, it's just a lot of time spent learning the habits etc etc, I have yet to break my biggest record of 10.5lbs, hopefully this summer I can do it though. I've seen alot of potentual bass swimming around but they didn't get big for being careless and dumb! I'll tell ya one of my biggest secrets, weightless plastics in heavy cover, better use at least 20lb Spiderwire lol! Oh and the one that looks as if it swallowed a bowling ball actually had a water snake in it's belly, yes a snake! I had that one mounted and the Taxidermist called me and told me what was in it's stomache, I was shocked hehehehe.
