Well opening weekend came and went with no deer taken. Thursday morning was a good morning but that night it came a "ditch cleaning, frog choking rain" along with heavy winds. Friday morning there was water everywhere, above your ankles. Had to miss Friday evening, had to be with the spouse at a wedding reception. Came back Saturday morning, got up at 2:30am drove two hours to lease, 43 degrees. Had one buck grunt nearby, could not see him. But a day in the woods is good. Going back Thursday for three days.
