October 1st is opening day for Archery here in Arkansas. Can't wait! This morning it was 46 degrees, sure got the neck swelling. I will be up in my climber, at first daylight Thursday, looking for a BIG UN.

Well opening weekend came and went with no deer taken.d'oh! Thursday morning was a good morning but that night it came a "ditch cleaning, frog choking rain" along with heavy winds. Friday morning there was water everywhere, above your ankles. Had to miss Friday evening,Brick wall had to be with the spouse at a wedding reception. Came back Saturday morning, got up at 2:30am drove two hours to lease, 43 degrees. Had one buck grunt nearby, could not see him. But a day in the woods is good. Going back Thursday for three days.
