When using a clear casting bobber filled with water does it matter which end goes on the line first the large end or the small?

I think it does, especially if it is the oblique spheroid shape -sort of pointy at one end and round at the other. Install it with the pointy end pointed toward the rod tip. That way retrieval is much smoother because the bobber glides instead of wobbling.
