Hey Guys, I'm new to the forum. Was wondering if any of you use the Solunar Tables on here, and if you feel that it's accurate and helpful. Thanks, Stacy

Hi Stacy, I find them extremely useful when fishing. I was just fishing for Muskie this past weekend and we monitored the best times and made sure we were in our prime spots. Oddly we ended our day with 4 Muskie in the boat and would have had 6 if my counterpart hadn't forgotten the net and we had to hand land the 4 we got. All the activity we saw was on or near the windows. That all said, like anything that has a ton of variable in it use them as a guide not as scripture. Wind, recent weather, etc can all change the environment. Adonis

I would agree with Adonis. I've had great success when fishing on the more prime days within the windows, but external factors like the wind, sun, rain, etc... like Adonis pointed out can change things for the better or worse. Good luck and give some feedback if you have success with the calendar.

Hi guys
Just used this for elk hunting.. It seems that the most productive was 2 to 3 days past the prime. We were able bugle in 3 or 4 on the 24 and 25 of Sept. Collecting one fine animal. So it does bear ome help for hunting as well as fishing. But I think it needs some more research. Would be nice to hear from others who have used the tables for hunting. Perhaps we can come with a winner.

I've used this calendar on multiple occasions ... heavily in 2008. Based on previous experience, I've had great results. Took a nice mature 8 pt that was perfectly in the window and a couple of does (2008). Two weeks ago (Sat, 16 Oct) took a nice doe with my bow at the end of the window ... saw three to include a nice 10 pt. I say it works!

Used them last year in February during a fishing contest - table said best time was around 10:00 a.m. At 10:15 we caught the contest winner - a 27 1/2" walleye. I have used them at other times and find them useful but subject to weather, etc. as some others have mentioned.
