I would like to ask all that are interested in the following feature to provide feedback.

Since the holidays are winding down, more time will be spent on updating features on HuntFishSport.com. First off, a few features that are almost done that will hopefully be out soon.

- Blog section for profiles. This will be a useful feature for personal blog entries and also for writing articles/tips, etc..

- Fish and Game activity times. This will be a really cool feature that will allow you to input a location and get back some of the following output:
-->Sun Rise/Set
-->Moon Rise/Set
-->Moon Phase
-->Moon Illumination
-->Minor and Major feeding activity times
-->Rating for the days activity on a 0-5 scale

This will be cool and me being a firm believer in lunar influence on game activity, it will be very useful.

-And finally, some updates to the forum.

Ok, now on to the feature that I would like some feedback on.

HFS will be integrating a fishing/hunting journal/log into your profile. This will give you the ability to keep track of your catches/kills along with pertinent data (weather, moon, time, etc.). You will be able to use this data to find patterns and use these to increase/improve your outings.

So, below is the data that will be used for the fish log which will be launched first, with the hunting log shortly there after. So, that being said, please reply to this post with ideas for other pieces of data that need to be captured for the fishing log and lets start a list for the hunting log as I am not the biggest of hunters and am not sure to what extent we want to capture data.

You are talking within the actual log/journal entry? If so, yes I will build in that capability.


What type of data would be useful?

With all the crazy stories we have it would be nice to be able to add pictures as part of the blog. Not sure if you have this included or not, if not it would be cool.

Yes this is included...you can upload pictures as part of a blog post.

How about a way to save your local hunting location zip code? Each time I enter the site I need to reenter my zip as it appears to devert back to the default.
