I am an avid trout, salmon , and steelhead fisherman who frequents lakes and rivers on the West coast of North America.  My preferred fishing method is with flies, which I tie myself.  I co-own a summer residence at Eagle Lake near Susanville in California, where I do the majority of my fishing for large Eagle Lake rainbow trout, a unique sub-species of rainbow trout. 

I have two daughters that also fish and who can tie flies, though they are now busy with school and careers and do not fish very often.
