Sun: Rise/Set - The times of the day when the sun rises and sets.

Sun: Transit - This is when the sun is at it's highest point in the sky and is directly overhead. Typically the midpoint between rise and set occurring around noon depending on the time of year and location.

Moon: Rise/Set - The times of the day when the moon rises and sets.

Moon: Transit - This is the same concept as the sun where it represents the midpoint of rise and set with the moon directly overhead, but happens at different times throughout the day. The moon is in transit when it passes the local prime meridian. This is an invisible line that runs from north to south.

Moon: Underfoot - Underfoot is the opposite of moon transit. Think of it as the moon being exactly under your feet on the other side of the world.

Moon: Phase/Illumination - The Moon has phases because it orbits Earth, which causes the portion we see illuminated to change.

What do the legend values mean?

If there is a (p) or a (n) next to the time that means that time frame overlaps days. Either the previous day or the next.

(r) means that the moon doesn't rise that day -- we all know the sun does :-) The same goes for (s) with the moon not setting that day. These happen in full/new moon periods.

(t) means that the moon doesn't transit that day. (u) means that the moon with not be underfoot that day.

What about daylight savings time?

As long as you choose the correct timezone from the drop down when creating the calendar, daylight savings will automatically be factored into the calendar results.
